Android 4.4.4 KitKat update has been available on Galaxy S5 in some carriers

Last June, Google has launched the two Android 4.4 KitKat updates. The first was 4.4.3 version, followed by the 4.4.4 version a few days later. Both claimed able to fix the bugs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. And after the 4.4.4 version, Google has decided to represent the Android L later.

Recently, Samsung has announced that it has made a deal with Google, that the Galaxy S5 will have Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Earlier of this month, Verizon has announced that it is going to have Android 4.4.4 KitKat on the Verizon Galaxy S5. It’s a very surprising news, considering how slow Verizon to Android update is. Another carrier, Sprint, also put Android 4.4.4 KitKat on its Galaxy S5 for testing.

According to XDA-Developers and anonymous donor, the update of Sprint Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 KitKat has been available. It’s not a final, but it’s stable enough to install it on Sprint Galaxy S5.

Although the update was not official release, the users knew that they have their own risk for the stability and file on the Galaxy S5. But, they don’t want to wait the update of the firmware only.

Sprint seems to be the next partner of Samsung and Google using the Android 4.4.4 KitKat updates on its devices. Then, other US carriers such as: AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellular are also expected to update to Android 4.4.4 KitKat

And since past few weeks, we got information that T-Mobile has made a deal to apply Android 4.4.4 KitKat on its Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4. Sprint was also pushed its Galaxy Note 3 to the update of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

The next Android update is expected, and it will be Android L. This update is predicted will be full of bug fixes key enhancements which are able to stabilize the devices in Android L.
